“It’s not that complicated. Tatsu tori ato wo nigosazu. The literal translation is: A bird leaves nothing behind.” Why you may see Japanese soccer fans cleaning up the stadium after World Cup games. (When the World Cup comes to the Bay Area, I’ve got to figure out a way to turn Japanese visitors into fans of my daughter’s bedroom.)
