If a user fails to check in for two consecutive days, the app sends an email to their emergency contact on the third day.” An App Called ‘Are You Dead?’ Is Climbing the Apple Charts. (I wish I’d known about this app sooner. It’s a lot easier way to provide proof of life than sending out a couple thousand words every day…)
