Dome Doom

“A concentrated sphere of heat, known colloquially as a ‘heat dome,’ has powered the excessively high temperatures. Over the next 8 to 14 days, the National Weather Service is calling for above-normal temperatures nearly everywhere in the continental U.S.” It’s been hot as hell in much of the world, and the heat wave stretching across the American south isn’t going anywhere for a while.
