Trump’s travel ban has been met with marches, protests, and many condemnations from around the world; including a dissent cable that has been signed by more than 1,000 State Dept officials. But public opinion polls tell a different story. A “Reuters/Ipsos poll found that 49 percent of Americans agreed with the order and 41 percent disagreed.” And a third of Americans polled indicated that ban made them feel safer. The question I have when it comes to the wall and the ban is, safer from what?
