It made sense in the old days. People felt a need to explain the world or mold the opinions of others, so they invented stories. Those stories spread. And eventually they were perceived as factual. But today, everything is different. We have the Internet. Every answer is just a search away. So why is nothing different? Why do hoaxes still play a dominant role in our lives?
